I remember the day God told me that I have been born again for a long time but that I have never grown a bit. It was a great shock to me because then I was trying to be born again and here was God telling me that I have passed that stage and need to begin to make progress on the next stage of my life in the kingdom.
What are the growth stages of our life in the kingdom of God? That is what this message is all about.

Eternal Father, may your grace for spiritual growth and progress be released on everyone studying this message in the name of Jesus Christ. Let their lives be blessed with significant undeniable spiritual progress from today forward in Jesus name.

The little children of the kingdom of God.
1 John 2:12 (KJV)
The little children of the kingdom of God are those whose sin has been forgiven. These are the newborns of the kingdom of God. They have just been translated into the kingdom of God. They know little to nothing concerning the kingdom.
The bible says of them in the book of Galatians 4:1-3, that they aren’t different from those who aren’t yet children of the kingdom. Their conduct and results are the same with those outside the kingdom. It’s a difficult task differentiating the little children of the kingdom from unbelievers.
It went further to tell us that the children though are lord of all; they are still under the bondage of the elements of this world. The things of this world still control them. They are controlled by human senses. What they see, ear, feel controls their life. Christians in this category are easily oppressed, molested, tortured, etc by the devil.
They have the Spirit of God resident in their lives but like in the beginning where the Spirit moved upon the face of the deep without a significant change until the word of the Lord was given to Him to work with (Genesis 1:1-3). The little children of the kingdom are without much change.
The young men of the kingdom.
…I have written unto you, young men because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
1 John 2:14 (KJV)
The young men of the kingdom are those who know the word of God and have applied them to their lives to see the result. They know the word of God as applied to their lives and has applied them to overcome the wicked one.
You don’t overcome the wicked one simply because you’re saved. Yes, the potential to overcome the wicked one is in you through the spirit of God that dwells in you. But until you activate it by the word of God, He will not overcome him for you though He has the power to overcome him for you. You must put in His hand the working tool of the word to work for you.

It’s like electric power. It has the potential to power any appliance that is plugged into it. However, if the appliance isn’t plugged into the power source, the power source would be of no use to the owner.
The word of God spoken is the connection linking the Spirit of God with our needs. As long as this connection is in place, the Spirit of God continues to work on our needs to perfection.
God spoke to Joshua after Moses was dead and He said, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Josh 1:8 - KJV). That is, the word of God shall not leave your mouth. What do you do with it in your mouth is the question. You keep saying it to yourself till it makes a success out of you.
God said to him, say it day and night. That is when it’s convenient and when it’s not. When you’re seeing the result and when you’re not seeing the result. Because, “at the end, it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:3 - KJV). Why is it impossible for the word of God to fail? Because God is always watching over His word spoken by us to perform it. Only those who know the word of God that will be able to speak it and only those who speak it God has promised to perform it for them.
The young men of the kingdom are those who have the word of God dwelling in them richly in all wisdom (Colossians 3:16). They also know how to activate it to their benefits.
The elders of the kingdom.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
James 5:14 (KJV)
The Elders of the kingdom are those who not only have the word of God dwelling in them richly but have the ability to send forth the word of God to others to bring change to them. The Elders can impact the grace of God upon their lives to others, unlike the young men who use the grace of God in their lives for their own benefit.
An Elder in the kingdom is not the oldest person in the church. He is the one, great or small who has the word of God dwelling richly in him or her and can transfer the power of the word to others for their good.
When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
Acts 15:2 (KJV)
When a dispute arose in the early church, they took the matter to the apostles and elders to seek answers. The elders of the church are knowledgeable in kingdom matter haven given themselves to the knowledge and wisdom of the kingdom.
Paul wrote to Timothy saying, “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine.” (1 Timothy 5:17 - KJV).
Elders are to labor in the word of God to be complete in all wisdom and understanding of the kingdom. Everyone in the church looks up to the elders for direction. Laboring in the wisdom of the kingdom becomes a necessity if the elders are to lead the people aright as well as bring the power of God to the people.
No one gets born an adult. We all grew from childhood to adulthood. It is the same principle in the kingdom of God. You must be born first before you can grow into a young man or an elder.
If you would make the following prayers with me from the depth of your heart, you would become born again into the family of God.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
Oh Lord God, I believe with my entire heart in your son Jesus Christ. I believe He died for me and You raised Him from the dead. I believe He is alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from today. Through Him and in His name I have eternal life.
I am born again. Thank you, Lord. I am now a child of God. Praise God!

I bless your body with divine health. Every sickness and disease in your body I condemn to destruction. This is your inheritance in Christ. Take it now in the name of Jesus Christ.
Your finances are blessed with an increase. This is your right in God. Take it now in the name of Jesus Christ. Favor is your birthright from God. Take all round favor right now in the name of Jesus. Protection is your birthright from God. Be divinely protected from ever assault to the wicked one in the name of Jesus Christ.
PERSONAL CONFESSION
I am a child of God. I am born of God. I live in heavenly places with God my Father. I’m surrounded by the peace of God that passes all understanding. The angels of God are working day and night for my good. I can’t be disadvantaged.
I confess the word of God to my life in and out of season. And I see the word taking form in my life with speed to the glory of God.
I manifest heaven around me. I don’t manifest the world. I make progress in the things of God every day of my life in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
