The healing power of our identity

Victory is a function of boldness, boldness a product of identity. Our capacities are utilized only to the extent to which we know ourselves. The more of ourselves we know, the more our potentials we manifest.

Lack of potentials is not our problem, but the exploitation of the ones we have. We make the most of the abilities we have only to the extent we know ourselves.

We must know and accept who we are in God. Our identity in God is too intimidating. But we must accept it because that is the way to go if you must manifest our God’s given potentials of which divine health is one.

WHO ARE YOU?

Until a man answers the question who are you? He cannot enter his place in destiny. And the extent to which one defines his identity is the extent to which he will manifest. No one exercises his abilities beyond the level to which he sees himself.

Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? 23 He said I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness,

John 1:22-23 (KJV)

When John was asked this question, who are you? He didn’t know the import of this seemingly little question. We are told, And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ (John 1:20 – KJV).

It is not a matter of denial but of identification. No one is interested in who you are not. Everyone is interested in who you are.

After telling them who he wasn’t they continued asking, who are you? And when he finally answered, he answered wrongly and said:

I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness,

John 1: 23 (KJV)

Yes, he had a voice, a unique one at that. But the personality behind the voice wasn’t distinctive. The voice was indomitable but the person that carried the voice was lost in the wilderness. The man behind the voice had no identity.

Like some will say, “I am a Christian.” I say no, you are more than that. It is your responsibility to know all that you are. It is not God’s duty but yours.

This platform is dedicated to revealing all your true identities in God and the privileges attached to them.

What did Jesus say of this man who said he was one crying in the wilderness?

And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? 9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.
Matt 11:7-14 (KJV)

Jesus said the man behind the voice in the wilderness was first a prophet of the order of Elias (Elijah) and secondly, more than a prophet.

But he didn’t know he was a prophet and what was the result? He died like one of the prophets but not like the prophet Elias. That will not be your portion in the name of Jesus.

And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist. 26 And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her. 27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison, 28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.

Mark 6:25-28 (KJV)

Your identity is key to accessing your birthrights in the kingdom. If you don’t know who you are, you cannot exercise the authorities that accompany you.

When Jesus came he didn’t say I am a son of man. No! He said, “I am the son of man.” A man of a kind different from what you guys have seen.

They told him, “Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.” And he replied, “Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cure today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.” (Luke 13:31-32).

Why could Jesus with boldness say that?

Nevertheless, I must walk today, and tomorrow and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perishes out of Jerusalem.

Luke 13:33 (KJV)

Because he knew he was a prophet though he didn’t attaché the title to his name. Beyond that, he also knew it was impossible that a prophet will die outside Jerusalem.

No devil can hurt you. No one can take you down. You are down because you lack knowledge of who you are to God and the authorities and privileges that are attached to the office to which you occupy in God.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:

Hosea 4:6 (KJV)

WHAT DO YOU SAY ABOUT YOURSELF?

Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?

John 1:22 (KJV)

What you say about yourself is more important than what others say about you. What others say about you is their individual opinion which varies from person to person. What you say about yourself is what you believe about yourself.

It is disheartening that many believe what others say about them to the extent that they repeat it as who they are.

It is dangerous to live your life based on men’s opinion.

No matter how factual an opinion is, it’s still an opinion. Don’t live by it.

You hear some Christians say, “I am a cancer patient.” I say no, that is not who you are. You are eternal life manifested to humanity. You don’t have cancer not to talk of being one. You have the Spirit of God in you.

And if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Romans 8:11 (KJV)

Until you say it, you cannot see it. Why? because:

…with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:10 (KJV)

It is through your mouth you access salvation or condemnation.

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words, thou shalt be condemned.

Matt 12:37 (KJV)

Enough, you have killed yourself with your mouth for too long. It is time to start living by the fruit of your lips.

A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled

Proverb 18:20 (KJV), Isaiah 57:19.

If you must see it, you must say it. God is only committed to confirming what we say not what we know.

Now say with me:

I AM A CHILD OF GOD. THE SPIRIT OF GOD LIVES IN ME. NO SICKNESS CAN TAKE THE PLACE OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD IN ME. I AM NOT SICK. I AM HEALTHY IN JESUS NAME.

Meditate on it; confess it day and night and you will see it.

HOW DO YOU SAY WHAT YOU SAY?

What you say is important but how you say what you say is more important than what you say.

The sound a dog makes is called bark but that of a lion is called roar. yet both were made with the same intention.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

Acts 4:13 (KJV)

When they saw the boldness of Peter and John. Boldness can be seen. Until your enemy sees your boldness, he cannot submit to your authority.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness

Acts 4:31 (KJV)

Boldness is expressed in words. The way you say what you say matters much more than what you say.

Any sickness you refuse to nurse will not live with you. Take your healing by the boldness of your confession today in the name of Jesus.

Praise God.

Now it is important to note that, no one can declare with boldness what he is not. If you are not a child of God, you can’t declare you are. And until you declare it the privileges attached to God’s children will not follow you (Matthew 16:17-18).

I enjoin you to make the following prayer with me to become a child of God and be able to declare things that God will confirm.
